Warehouse Coordinator REPORTS TO:
Warehouse Supervisor NEW OR UPDATED:
New SUMMARY OF PURPOSE:
Ensures that materials are ordered, received and distributed to the different departments properly, including the verification of purchase request specifications.
Essential Functions:
Create specimen collection kits per standard operating procedure as deemed necessary by production to maintain adequate finished goods inventory for client supply order fulfillment.
Stage materials for kit production in order to maintain an efficient workflow.
Ensure that materials to produce kits are adequately stocked and that proper notification of low stock is communicated in a timely manner to receive replenishment.
In collaboration with managers (if necessary) conduct routine inventory counts for all items (finished goods and raw materials).
Monitor and trend volumes/par levels to adjust inventory as necessary.
This is done in collaboration with managers/leads in departments.
Responsible for receiving, cleaning and inspecting shipments received for supply order fulfillment.
Checks weekly for departmental inventory, ensuring that par levels are maintained Organize, complete, and file any paperwork as necessary.
Organizes and maintains a neat and orderly warehouse/stock room Maintain excellent work ethic.
Other duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
1.
High School diploma or GED 2.
Kitting, packing, picking experience is preferred but not required.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally with fellow coworkers across various shifts and departments.
Strong attention to detail.
Critical thinking, problem solving abilities.
Must be flexible with respect to scheduling.

Occasional walking, standing, bending, and reaching while performing all facets of this position.

Lifting of up to 50 pounds on an infrequent basis.
7.
Computer skills are required including but not limited to (MS Office products, Windows, Android/iPhone).
Repetitive wrist motion when performing administrative procedures.
Must be able to follow and comply with safety and quality procedures.
